Hi — I’m Mostafa Elbehery
I’m a pediatric doctor currently working and training in the United Kingdom, with a particular interest in pediatric critical care, cardiac intensive care, and medical education.
I created Pediatric.academy with a simple goal:
- to make pediatric learning clearer, shorter, and more clinically meaningful.
Medical education often becomes long, overwhelming, and focused only on passing exams. My vision for this platform is different — short, high-yield learning that helps clinicians think better and practice better medicine.
My Background
My journey in pediatrics started in Egypt, where I graduated from Mansoura University in 2009 and completed my internship in 2011.
Early in my career, I developed a strong interest in pediatric critical care. My clinical experience includes:
- Egypt (2012–2013)
• General Pediatric Critical Care Unit
• Neonatal Unit - Saudi Arabia – Ministry of Health (2014–2017)
• Pediatric Cardiac Critical Care Unit - Saudi Arabia – Ministry of National Guard Health Affairs (2018–2021)
• Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit - United Kingdom (2021–2022)
• Pediatric Cardiac Critical Care - United Kingdom (2022–Present)
• Pediatric Specialty Trainee
Academic and Teaching Experience
I have always been passionate about teaching and medical education.
Some highlights include:
• MRCPCH – 2025
• EPALS Instructor (UK)
• 3 scientific presentations (2 in Saudi Arabia, 1 international)
• 3 peer-reviewed publications
Teaching, mentoring, and sharing clinical knowledge have always been central to my career.
Why Pediatric.academy Exists
This platform is built around a simple philosophy: Master pediatrics.
Here you will find:
- Microlearning lessons (5–10 minutes)
- Evidence-based clinical explanations
- Focused quizzes and key takeaways
- Content designed for busy clinicians
The goal is simple:
- help doctors, trainees, and healthcare professionals learn faster and apply knowledge better in real clinical practice.
A Community of Instructors
Pediatric.academy is not built by one person alone.
I have invited other clinicians and educators to contribute courses as well. Different instructors bring different perspectives, teaching styles, and experiences, which makes learning richer and more effective.
Medicine is a collaborative field — education should be the same.
Join the Learning Journey
Whether you are a student, trainee, doctor, or healthcare professional, I hope Pediatric.academy helps you learn something valuable that improves patient care.
Welcome to the platform 🙂
Mostafa
